Step-by-Step Guide
Log in to Shopify Admin
Go to admin.shopify.com and sign in with the decedent\'s Shopify account.
Review tax settings
Navigate to Settings → Taxes and duties to see which regions have active tax collection.
Download tax reports
Go to Analytics → Reports → Taxes and download sales tax reports for all available periods.
Check for active sales
If the store is still active and processing orders, sales tax continues to accrue. Consider pausing the store.
