Review all active projects and contracts
Log into HoneyBook and review Projects with active status. Each may have a signed contract with payment milestones and service obligations that the business is legally bound to fulfill.

Check scheduled payments
Review upcoming payment milestones. Some clients may have automatic payments scheduled. Note the amounts and dates to decide whether to continue or pause.

Communicate with active clients
Clients with active contracts deserve communication. Arrange for someone to contact them about the situation and discuss refunds, rescheduling, or contract modifications.

Export all client and financial data
Download client contact lists, contract PDFs, invoice records, and payment history. HoneyBook may be the only place these contracts are stored.

Review payout settings
Check Settings → Payments to verify the connected bank account for payouts. Ensure any pending payouts will reach an accessible account.
