Release or port phone numbers
Phone Numbers → Manage → Active Numbers. Release numbers you no longer need, or port critical numbers to another provider to preserve them.
Disable active messaging services
Disable any Messaging Services, Voice apps, or Studio Flows that are actively sending messages or making calls.
Export message and call logs
Use the Twilio API or Console to export message logs and call logs if records are needed for business or legal purposes.
Document API credentials and close account
Note the Account SID and Auth Token location. Contact Twilio support for estate account closure.
