Step-by-Step Guide

1

Add organization members

Settings → Members → Invite Member. Add a trusted person as Owner to maintain error monitoring for production apps.

2

Document monitored projects

List all projects being monitored and their DSN keys. Apps using Sentry will stop reporting errors if the account is closed.

3

Export critical error data

Use the Sentry API to export error reports if historical data is needed. Data retention depends on the plan tier.

4

Downgrade or cancel plan

Downgrade to Developer (free) tier or cancel the subscription. Contact Sentry support for account transfer.
