Export data from all Linodes

SSH into each Linode to download application data and databases. Create backups before shutting down any instances.

Power off or delete Linodes

Note that powered-off Linodes still incur charges. Delete Linodes to stop billing entirely.

Check NodeBalancers and storage

NodeBalancers, Block Storage volumes, and Object Storage also incur charges. Delete or transfer as needed.

Contact Linode support for closure

Contact Akamai/Linode support for estate account transfer or closure procedures.
