Log in to Dynadot and review My Domains. Note expiry dates and auto-renew settings for each domain.
Renew critical domains or enable auto-renew
Renew domains expiring soon and enable auto-renewal. Ensure the account has sufficient balance or a valid payment method.
Export DNS zone files
Export DNS records for each domain. My Domains → DNS Settings → Export. These are needed for migration.
Transfer domains or contact support
Unlock domains and get auth codes for transfer. Contact Dynadot support for estate account access.
Document Now Checklist
- Dynadot account email
- List all domains and expiry dates
- Account balance (Dynadot uses prepaid balance)
- Note auto-renew settings
- DNS hosting configuration per domain
