Clone all repositories
Clone every repo locally using git clone. Bitbucket repos are part of an Atlassian account. Export includes code and commit history.
Transfer workspace ownership
Add a trusted person as workspace Admin. Workspace Settings → User groups → Administrators. They can then manage all repos.
Document Pipeline variables
Pipelines CI/CD variables contain secrets. Go to Repository Settings → Pipelines → Repository variables and document all entries.
Cancel Bitbucket or Atlassian subscription
Bitbucket is part of Atlassian. Cancel at admin.atlassian.com. Contact Atlassian support for estate procedures.
