Ask Bench to complete and deliver all pending bookkeeping through the current period. Request final Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and any year-end packages.

Clarify tax filing obligations
If the Bench plan includes tax filing, confirm the status of any pending or upcoming tax returns. Get the name of the tax professional assigned to the account.

Download all historical records
Log into the Bench dashboard and download all available reports, financials, and transaction histories. Export everything — you will lose access after cancellation.

Transition to another provider if needed
If the business is continuing, Bench can help transition records to another bookkeeper or accountant. Request a complete data handoff package.
